A new algorithm to this old mathematics problem:

“I have totally 15 Chickens and Rabbits in a cage, with 40 foot in total. So how many chickens and how many rabbits do I have in that cage?”

Okay…this is a very old question of China and kinda related to Number Theory. I believe it’s not that hard by using indeterminate equations…~~or by guessing~~. But hey, I bet you have never thought about solving it in THIS WAY:

“Assuming those Chickens and Rabbits are well-trained, everyone of them can lift up one feet after your whistle. So All you have to do is: ‘WHISTLE’~ 15 animals lift up one feet, and there are 40-15 = 25 foot remaining on the ground. and you ‘WHISTLE’ again, 15 animals lift up their second feet. NOTE: Because every single chicken has 2 foot, they fell….. so we get all rabbits each standing with 2 foot in the cage! 25-15 = 10. this is the number of foot of rabbits. So 10/2 = 5 rabbits and we get 15-5 = 10 chickens” …………………

AMAZING….

鸡兔同笼新算法：

已知共有鸡和兔15只，共有40只脚，问鸡和兔各有几只。

算法：

假设鸡和兔训练有素，吹一声哨，它们抬起一只脚，(40-15=25) 。再吹一声哨，它们又抬起一只脚，(25-15=10) ，这时鸡都一屁股坐地上了，兔子还两只脚立着。所以，兔子有10/2=5只，鸡有15-5=10只。
